These quick and easy quesadillas combine shredded chicken, melted cheese, and a creamy sauce with the unique flavor and just the right amount of spice from D'Bocas. A classic dish full of flavor and perfectly balanced spice.

Ingredients
-
2 large flour tortillas.
-
1 cup cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken is ideal).
-
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend).
-
2 tbsp sour cream or cream cheese (softened).
-
1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking).
-
Optional: sautéed red onions or corn kernels.
Instructions
-
Make the creamy chicken filling:
In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream (or cream cheese), and D’Bocas hot sauce. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Add more hot sauce for a spicier kick.
-
Assemble the quesadilla:
Lay one tortilla flat. Spread the creamy chicken mixture evenly over it.
Top with shredded cheese. Place the second tortilla on top to create a sandwich.
-
Cook the quesadilla:
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt half the butter or oil.
Add the quesadilla and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted. Flip carefully with a spatula.
-
Serve:
Remove from heat, let rest 1 minute, then cut into 4 wedges.
Serve warm with guacamole, salsa, or an extra drizzle of D’Bocas hot sauce.
💡 D’Bocas Tip:
For added texture and flavor, mix in sautéed red onions or sweet corn before cooking. For extra texture and flavor, mix in sautéed red onions or sweet corn before cooking. If you want a crispier texture, toast the tortilla directly in the pan without oil during the last minute of cooking.
