Ingredients
For the tuna burgers:

2 (5 oz) cans tuna in water, drained.

1 large egg.

¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred).

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion.

1 tablespoon mayonnaise.

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard.

Salt and pepper, to taste.

4 burger buns (brioche or sesame seed).

Make the tuna patties:
In a medium bowl, combine tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly. Shape into 4 even patties.

Cook the patties:
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and heated through.

Prepare the tartar sauce:
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chopped pickles, lemon juice, and D’Bocas Hot Sauce. Adjust seasoning and spice to taste.

Assemble the burgers:
Lightly toast burger buns. Spread the spicy tartar sauce on the bottom bun, add the tuna patty, then lettuce and tomato slices, and finish with the top bun.
