Hi folks, HAPPY NEW YEAR and here we are in to the carnival 2K8 season with a jolt as carnival
is right around the corner - the 4th & 5th of February 2008. This is "D" real Christmas into Carnival.
Needless to say, all now Soca tunes are being released for carnival 2K8. Even a shorter season than 2K7 , this year,
here at D'Bocas, we plan to make the most of it as usual. Our after work Wednesdays' lime features some of the most
popular and well-seasoned Soca artists such as Crazy, Poser, Explainer, Rootsman, Skatie, Defosto, Johnny King, Santa De Master, Eunice
Peters and Chucky along with a host of new comers including Olatunji, Tony Johnson, Nicole De Coteau and Mini
Priest. It starts at 5:00pm every Wednesday before Carnival and it's brought to you by our co-sponsors Angostura Limited,
manufacturers of Blu Vodka and distributors of Highlander Scotch, and also Heineken Trinidad Ltd. So if you're passing
through town on a Wednesay and you hear music blasting there's only one place to go to and that's D'Bocas On Chacon
Street.
D'Bocas is "the" place in the heart of town for meeting up and liming with your posse while
deciding which carnival events you want to check out. Yes D'Bocas is D'Roundez vous and liming spot down town
serving the best local cuisine and all the latest soca to gear you up the 2 big Carnival days on the 4th & 5th of February.
